My sister Jen and I decided to get into marijuana growing together. We started out just using a grow box with a few plants inside. Then her and I pooled our money together to get a cananbox container with everything inside. The LED lights, thermostat, fans, hydroponic system and nutrient system are split 50/50 between us. The idea was that we would grow together, sell the plants and split the profits. I am now really regretting the decision on being business partners. COVID has really put a monkey wrench in our growing. My sister wasn’t careful about social distancing and ended up with the virus. She was in and out of the hospital and now is quarantined in her home. She hasn’t been involved in quite a bit of my most recent growing process. I have done literally everything and yet she will split the profit. I am a bit salty on that. Technically she could still come to the facility and do everything even with COVID. I just would need to stay away and my sister would have to sanitize everything. I don’t really want to potentially damage the plants with all the cleaning products. I also have noticed my sister isn’t as careful as me with the plants. She tends to handle the plants aggressively and damage them. She also is very forgetful with important changes like temperature or curing the plants. I wonder if I can buy her out of the business by the time she gets healthy again. I know I could do everything on my own and I don’t really want her involved anymore.
