I never missed pizza until COVID hit and suddenly I couldn’t order it whenever I wanted. I never ate a lot of pizza, maybe once every couple of months as something fun for me and the kids to have for dinner. Once the option of pizza was gone, I found myself wishing I could order one. It’s funny how the mind works, isn’t it? These days places are open for delivery, and I know they say it’s safe, but I’m still nervous. For pizza, the risk isn’t worth it – but for getting my cannabis from the local dispensary, it IS worth the risk. Some people may not consider cannabis medicine, but those people are very wrong if you ask me. The problem comes that I don’t want to preach isolation to my family, and then make an exception in front of them for my cannabis. They might think it was unfair, which is not what I want, so instead I arranged for curbside pickup at my cannabis dispensary. Basically I place my order over the phone, and then an hour later I drive to the cannabis dispensary, park, and pop my trunk. One of the budtenders will come out with my cannabis order and place it in the trunk, so I get my stuff and they get their money with zero contact. I know that the pizza places do the exact same pickup service that the cannabis dispensary offers, but I still don’t think it’s worth the risk. Maybe if pizza got me as lifted as cannabis does, it would be a different story.
