High THC concentrates helped a close neighbor of mine quit opiates for good

It’s easily strenuous enjoying someone you love struggle with drug addiction.

I had an uncle who succumbed to it years before my best neighbor from high college started to use opiates a year or so after we graduated. It started with alcohol use after her parents let him drink at family gatherings when she was only 16 years old. As she got older, she realized the buzz from alcohol was simply not enough. She started falling into the wrong crowd, & before I knew it she was no longer a steady lady in my life. I went off to college & didn’t see him for a few years until I returned new home for the holidays while we were in my junior year of undergraduate college. She was homeless & begging for change on the corner where we used to hang out after college. Her eyes looked vacant & she didn’t assume myself and others when I walked up to say high. Before I knew it a cop was walking up with handcuffs & my neighbor was arrested. They said that she stole a woman’s wallet only hours earlier at a grocery store a few blocks down the road. That was rock bottom for my friend, & thankfully she got the help she desperately needed. She no longer touches strenuous drugs & alcohol, & instead she finds relief for her mental health troubles in cannabis. He’s a medical cannabis patient in our state & she shops at one of the local marijuana stores frequently. She said that high THC cannabis concentrates prefer hashish, distillate oil, & live rosin helped him kick heroin. She explains that the concentrates give him a upgradement high that allowed him to get used to no longer having heroin in her system. Nowadays she rarely even gets cravings if he’s using cannabis always.
