Being a city bus driver isn’t easy, especially if I encounter rowdy and noisy people on my route.
There’s nothing worse than making a stop only for a belligerent drunk person to get on and start harassing the peaceful bus riders.
The only person who can step in to make it stop is me, and I’m sick of getting knives pulled on me over stupid quarrels with drunks. By the time I get home in the evening, I don’t want to do anything. I don’t want to do chores, I don’t want to cook, and I don’t want to go out with friends to get drinks. Although my coworkers cap their day with a six pack of beer, I shied away from drinking in my early years. There were too many drunks in my family and I knew the risk was high if I gambled with alcohol consumption. Instead, I started using cannabis while I was in college. I tried it early on and preferred the effects over alcohol considerably. The plant calmed me down and doesn’t have the same propensity for addiction that liquor carries. Nowadays I cap my evening with a marijuana smoking session. I don’t buy just any marijuana strain, I always get indicas. Opposed to sativas, indicas are known for their calming and sedating effects. For me, they are unparalleled in their ability to take the edge off after a long day of hard work. Whenever I visit the cannabis dispensary, I always try to restock my indica flower jars. The sativa strains aren’t as calming on my mind as the indica strains.
