My girlfriend and I have been looking for a new place for a couple of months.
Our lease is up in April and we are looking for a bigger place. Last weekend we went to see two new apartments. One of the places was a bit overpriced, but they had really nice amenities. The apartment building had a laundry room with 12 washers and 12 dryers. They have a large swimming pool complex with a hot tub and barbecue grills. There is a public transportation bus stop in front of the apartment buildings. My girlfriend was really impressed with this place and she wanted the two of us to fill out an application as soon as we looked at the apartment. I liked the apartment as well, but for one entirely big and different reason. The apartment complex was right down the street from my favorite marijuana dispensary. The marijuana dispensary would be close enough to walk if my girlfriend and I selected the apartment. We saw the second apartment that day as well. It was on the other side of town. It was not very close to a recreational and medical marijuana dispensary, and the apartment building did not have a swimming pool complex with barbecue grills and a hot tub. In fact, the apartment buildings are a bit rundown. That’s why it’s a cheaper place to live. My girlfriend and I have been pondering the decision. We want to make the right decision and we don’t want to be broke because of it. Both apartments were large and spacious, but they have a $300 price tag difference.
