The state is going to vote on recreational marijuana again this year

Medical marijuana has been legal in the state for the past five years.

There are a number of dispensaries across the 37 counties and medical marijuana has become a mainstream part of society.

I’ve honestly been ready for them to legalize recreational marijuana for the past three years. I was hoping it would make the ballot then, but I’m glad to see it is finally going to happen now. There is going to be a vote for recreational marijuana on the next ballot. I’ve been working hard with each one of the districts close to my home. It’s important to get correct information out to the voters, so they can make an informed decision when they go to the polls. There are a lot of political commercials on tv and on the internet and many of them depict marijuana in a negative light. I am doing my best to make sure that every citizen is informed before they make a decision that is going to affect more than three million people in this state. I am hopeful and optimistic that the law will be passed. There is no denying the amount of money that can be generated from the state, county, and local taxes that can be charged on recreational marijuana purchases. The money alone from those taxes would cause a multi-million dollar surplus in the county and state budget. That money can be used to fix infrastructure, roads, schools, hospitals, and public transportation. There are lots of reasons to legalize marijuana and I hope lawmakers will finally vote in favor.
