There are aspects of COVID that have ruined lives.
The whole people getting sick & dying thing is the worst, of course.
Selfishly, I hate the virus because there are no good motion pictures out & hanging out at the mall isn’t entirely possible. I also deal with reduced menus at whatever restaurants are even open & most of the bars are closed. There are things about COVID that that I like, though. I used to run a ton of errands on Friday. Now I can just rest at home & get my stuff done. I can order groceries online to be delivered within multiple hours. The delivery fee is abit much, but I would pay anything not to have to go to the market. I got my birth control online & I my dog had a virtual vet appointment recently. I care about that I don’t have to go anywhere anymore. I used to travel almost an hour to the cannabis dispensary & get my same products. I hope the old way never comes back. I would go into the legal weed shop, grab my strain, wait in line with a dozen other people, & then drive home after I pay. It would take me half the day just to get a few things. Now with COVID being a problem, the weed shop offers cannabis delivery. I can go to their website, option out my same strain & somebody drives it to me & leaves it there for me. I am way more of an impulse purchaser now too because it’s easy to browse the selection of edibles & read in detail about what they do. I also save money on gas by not going to the weed shop myself. It is just so much better.
