The new guy blocked the return vent

Summer is always very hot and overwhelmingly humid. The average temperatures are over 90 degrees and it rains everyday because of the intense humidity. The heat is absolutely terrible and nothing helps get rid of the muggy and wet feeling. I’m lucky that I get to work indoors. A couple of my friends have to work outside every day in the summer. I feel very blessed that I get to enjoy air conditioning at my job. I work in a pot shop. We sell a lot of different recreational and medical marijuana supplies. The pot shop also has a small seating area with a television, couch, and a snack bar. Several days ago, I was working behind the counter at the pot shop. I was helping some customers fill a cannabis order. I knew it was getting warmer in the store, but I was trying to ignore the problem. When someone in the snack bar started to complain about the indoor temperatures too, I got up from my spot and checked on the thermostat and the indoor temperature. When I realized it was 82 degrees inside of the pot shop, I immediately called the repair service that normally works on the air conditioner. Two hours later, a repair technician arrived to check on the air conditioner. I found out that the new guy blocked the return vent with a large box. The box of t-shirts was completely blocking the return vent and the air conditioner did not have proper airflow. The repair guy told me that was absolutely the problem.
