I love trying new things, especially at restaurants.
I’ll never forget the first time I ate at the Vietnamese restaurant down the street from where I was working at the time.
Even though I have always loved New York style Chinese food, I know that it’s different from traditional cuisine. The Vietnamese restaurant was authentic and I wasn’t sure how I’d respond to the food, but I was blown away from the start. I tried one of their soups the first time I ate there and it was one of the most complex tasting broths that I’ve had in my entire life. When I tried out dishes from the restaurant, it soon became my favorite place to eat on my lunch break. I wish I still lived in that city because I think about that place often. It’s a reminder to me that I need to be open to trying new things, because there are times where something different becomes an immediate favorite. I thought I had tried all cannabis concentrates after I had used wax, shatter, crumble, and distillate oil. There was a brand new product making the rounds at my favorite cannabis dispensary, and when I asked they told me it was live rosin. They explained that it’s made with fresh cannabis plants that are frozen after harvest. Since many terpenes are destroyed when cannabis is dried and cured into smokable flower buds, live rosin retains terpenes that are otherwise inaccessible to a user of the plant. And since all rosins are made with heat, there are no chemical solvents used to create this amazing cannabis concentrate. Live rosin is one example of a fairly new cannabis product that I can jump on board with.
