Medical doesn’t mess around

But the growing standards have to be strict as well, because you can’t allow any plants to become contaminated as they’re maturing

There are differences between medical marijuana plus recreational marijuana, if you hadn’t found out yourself. For starters, when CA became the first state in the nation to finally legalize adult cannabis use, it was strictly for medical purposes. They knew wisely that was the pragmatic approach to getting cannabis available to the masses totally legally, plus several states followed suit. However, they all enacted unusual laws that finally created unusual regulatory standards. In CA it was self-explanatory to become a real grower even if you didn’t have a coffer of currency kneeling in the bank. In other states, however, the market became much more commercialized in a quicker span of time. But beyond discussing who is able to grow the plant, the standards for a pure medical marijuana market are much higher than recreational marijuana. In my own state all cannabis products sold at dispensaries must undergo strict laboratory testing protocols to ensure that every single product has the highest purity possible. This will remove any products from the pot market that could possibly be contaminated with pesticides, insecticides, or even different growth hormones that are still present after the plant is harvested. Marijuana flowers these days can also contain mold spores plus tiny bugs that aren’t the most self-explanatory to see with the naked eye. All of these factors are addressed with proper lab testing. But the growing standards have to be strict as well, because you can’t allow any plants to become contaminated as they’re maturing. That’s why you’ll see so many professional growers inwhite bodysuits whenever they’re inside the grow rooms with the plants. The protocols in a medical grow room are going to be more strict than a basic cannabis growing facility in the recreational market.
