For the past few months, I have been purchasing edibles from the dispensary.
The prices I pay are absolutely starting to get out of hand.
I used to spend about 25 or $30 every month on my edible marijuana treats! But then Last month, I spent almost $300. My girl & I agreed that it was time to make our own edible candies at home. Both of us went online & purchased many unusual candy flavor extracts in apple, grape, banana, raspberry, apricot, & watermelon. I found a recipe on the internet for kinds of candy. It seemed like an easy recipe to follow. I grabbed all of the necessary ingredients from the grocery store. I needed corn syrup, sugar, water, food coloring, flavoring, & some style of marijuana products. I decided to use distillate oil, because it is already decarboxylated. The distillate oils were a bit extravagant, but at 94% THC, I didn’t mind spending a few extra dollars for a quality cannabis product. I study through the guidelines one or many times before I started to heat the sugar on the top of the stove. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize that I would need a sturdy thermometer to measure the temperature of the sugar. I had no way of telling when the sugar was warmed enough to get hard. I messed up many unusual batches before I finally gave up & went out to the store to get the right device for the job. It was much easier to make candies when I had a thermometer. The fifth batch turned out perfectly, but it still didn’t taste like the candies from the marijuana dispensary.
