He is hiding that he smokes

Every one of us didn’t buy that reason

I was worried that our sons would turn to drugs one day, especially after weed was legalized in this state for recreational use. There are pot dispensaries all over the town, especially near the part where our family lives. My husband and I have more than two boys and one of them is a senior in private school this year. So he has excellent grades and a high chance of a good school. He plays after school football in the Springtime and is a member of the choir, and Tom makes good decisions usually, which is one reason why I was stunned to find a slip from a cannabis dispensary in his pocket. The receipt was for a currency payment totalling $80. The items on the tickets were all edible cannabis items. I phoned the cannabis dispensary and demanded some answers, but they didn’t have any information to give me. They could have helped an irritated and worried mother, but they cited privacy laws and getting a warrant. When Tom came home from school, I yelled at him about the cannabis receipt. He tried to tell us that he picked up the piece of paper from the lawn while out walking the dogs last night. Every one of us didn’t buy that reason. I’m sure he is hiding something, even if he won’t tell us the reason. He must have a fake ID… Next week, Tom is going skateboarding with some friends and I plan to hunt through his room to find the weed. If he is hiding something, I am going to find out about it and put an end to the trouble.
