When I was in class, I used cannabis with our friends to have a fun night.
It was strenuous to find, but every once in a while we got our hands on a basket of pot.
Every one of us didn’t use marijuana for medical reasons and we never thought of it as a drug. If we had a basket of weed, we were going to smoke it and spend the night laughing or having fun. I regularly believed marijuana was a fun recreational drug. When the doctor told me to start trying medical pot for our anxiety and PTSD, I didn’t take the suggestion seriously at the beginning. I continued to deal with the mental and physical concerns for another year. It was hard to deal with the PTSD symptoms which caused nightmares, paranoia, and stress and panic attacks. The next time the doctor mentioned medical marijuana, I decided to get more information. The doctor sent me to a night class at a medical marijuana treatment center. I got educated on the pros of using cannabis. The doctors worked on me and helped me get a medical card. It’s been 6 weeks since I started using medical marijuana. At first, I felt high and happy from the plant. Now I’ve been using cannabis for 6 weeks and I no longer feel that mood. When I use cannabis, I get the medical benefits from the plant love pain relief and calmness. My anxiety and PTSD symptoms are better than they have been in the past and our sleep has been improved as well. I’m thankful the doc mentioned weed on more than one occasion.
